SnapShot(R) EMI Shields are removable electromagnetic shields. These shields are applied after reflow allowing even reflow profiles and inspections and rework after reflow. SnapShot shields are made from a tin plated lightweight polymer. They provide excellent shielding performance and can be configured into almost any shape so the shield fits the board and the application. The shields are made of non ferrous materials so inclusion in magnetic fields is not an issue.

Prototype and production tooling and parts can be created in less than a week when needed.

XGR acquired the proven SnapShot Shielding technology and assets from W.L. Gore and Associates. The parts are made on the same machines by the same people that have been making them for the past 15 years.
